POSITION SUMMARY

Plays piano accompaniment for show choir rehearsals and performances.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in playing piano accompaniments Proficient in sight-reading choral parts Ability to follow cues from the directors Ability to work evenings and weekends

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Professional Performance Criteria Accompany vocal music ensembles on the piano for both rehearsals and performances. Record accompaniments. Regularly practice to ensure accuracy and fluency. Personal Performance Criteria Works well with others, maintaining positive and effective communication with school personnel and students. Ability to relate to all students regardless of needs and/or abilities. Contributes to creating a positive learning environment. Demonstrates ability to grasp and adjust to new and changing situations.
