Aug 13, 2026 Job Description Piper High School is seeking a skilled and reliable High School Choir Accompanist to support our vocal music program for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves accompanying choral rehearsals, teaching vocal parts in sectional settings, and providing musical support for concerts and contests. All interested and qualified candidates are asked to apply as soon as possible. The position is open until filled.
Wage:
$20/hour
Qualifications:
Strong piano performance skills and sight-reading ability Experience accompanying vocal ensembles preferred Ability to teach music parts and lead small groups Comfortable working with high school-aged students Dependable, punctual, and collaborative
Essential Job Functions:
Provide piano accompaniment for daily choir rehearsals and performances Lead sectional rehearsals and assist in teaching vocal parts Collaborate with the Choir Director to support student learning and performance goals Accompany students and ensembles at concerts and KSHSAA contests Maintain a professional and supportive demeanor with high school students Attend scheduled performances and competitions, including evenings and some weekends To apply: 1.
