PRE LAMB SEASON 2026
June - August South West Shearing Ltd
ATTENTION WOOLHANDLERS
Experienced wool handlers wanted. The job titles are based in Lawrence Otago. They are fixed term June - August with possible further employment at the end of the fixed term period. 6-7 days per week paid weekly & dependant upon weather & client requirements with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Wool handlers will receive $30-45 per hour. The rate differs for wool handlers who are paid accordingly based on skill level. A wool handlers key tasks and responsibilities include preparing the wool clip by collecting & sorting the wool as its shorn from the sheep, keeping the board clean and working in a team environment. There is no qualification needed but 1 year experience is required for a wool handler. Great Accomodation available with free wifi.
