Fine Arts Accompanist Wichita Collegiate School - 4.8 Wichita, KS Job Details Part-time 22 hours ago Qualifications Working with students Full Job Description Part-Time Fine Arts Accompanist Position Summary The Part-Time Fine Arts Accompanist provides piano accompaniment for the school's music program, supporting rehearsals, performances, classes, and special events. Working collaboratively with music faculty, the accompanist enhances student learning and performance while contributing to a vibrant and engaging fine arts program. Essential Responsibilities Provide piano accompaniment for choir rehearsals, concerts, recitals, and school performances. Accompany students for auditions, competitions, assessments, and other fine arts events as assigned. Collaborate with music faculty to prepare repertoire and support instructional goals. Practice assigned music independently to ensure performance readiness. Attend scheduled rehearsals and performances, including occasional evenings or weekends. Foster a positive, encouraging, and professional environment for students and colleagues. Support the mission and values of the school through active participation in the Fine Arts Department. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in piano performance and excellent sight-reading skills. Experience accompanying choirs, vocalists, or instrumental ensembles preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills. Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and abilities. Reliable, organized, and able to manage a flexible part-time schedule. Schedule This is a part-time position. Hours vary based on rehearsal, instructional, and performance schedules throughout the school year.
