Part-Time Soprano coachDescription:
Seeking a Soprano Vocalist to join our Winter Voices crossover project - a small ensemble of 7-8 motivated teens (ages 12-17) and two professional vocalists preparing a winter concert program.Schedule:
Wednesdays, 6-8PM Compensation:
$100 per sessionLocation:
Needham (accessible by MBTA Bus 59 — Needham Public Library stop , direct from Newton Highlands)Role:
During the first hour: coach 2-3 students on their vocal parts (solo lines and ensemble sections, vocal technique).After a short break:
rehearse full ensemble pieces together with the teens and vocalists. The program includes a mix of solos and choral arrangements. If you're interested in teaching additional private students on other days, that is also welcome.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Voice Performance , Vocal Pedagogy , or Music Education (Master's degree preferred). Strong foundation in healthy classical technique and understanding of vocal development in children and teens. Ability to teach musical theatre , crossover , and contemporary styles with healthy vocal production. Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in private lessons or group vocal instruction. Experience working with teens and pre-teens ; understanding of adolescent voice changes and vocal health. Joyful, positive, and encouraging teaching style — someone who genuinely loves working with young singers. Collaborative mindset - comfortable working within a team of teachers and participating in studio events.How To Apply:
