Description:
The Lincoln-Sudbury Civic Orchestra is looking for an experienced trumpet player to assume a significant role in performing the great classic orchestral literature. This year we will be performing Mussky's Pictures at and Exhibition - a shining work in which the trumpet plays a prominent part. Transposing in a variety of traditional classical trumpet keys will be beneficial, but not required. The LSCO meets on Tuesday evenings at LSRHS in Sudbury, MA.
Qualifications:
Perform the trumpet with confidence and clarity over the full range of the instrument. Have played in concert band or orchestra for enough years to be confident to perform the classic literature with 12 weeks of rehearsal.
