TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
The Cedar Springs High School Marching Band has an immediate opening for two Marching Instructors for the entirety of the 2026 marching band season. Must be a current employee of EduStaff or willing to become an employee of EduStaff. Employment will begin August 3, pending completion of Edustaff registration and all required paperwork.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Attendance at all band functions Assist with show design Instruction of fundamental playing skills, show music, marching fundamentals, and show drill Creating a positive, while challenging and competitive environment for students to achieve excellence Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in marching in high school, at the collegiate level, in winter activities, or DCI preferred Previous successful marching band instruction at the high school level Extensive knowledge of marching band technique and instruction Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team Able to have effective and positive communication with students, staff members, and directors Responsible, professional, embodies high ethical standards and integrity Schedule of full-band activities can be found at http://www.cedarspringsbands.org/calendar.html Marching Instructors will attend rehearsals before competitions but will not attend the competition.
