Worship Leader

Riverwood Community Church Worship Leader Job Description and Responsibilities Part-Time Worship Leader Riverwood Community Church is seeking a part-time Worship Leader to help lead our congregation in Christ-centered worship through music. Riverwood is a Converge-affiliated evangelical church with approximately 150-200 people in weekly attendance, committed to biblical teaching, relational community, and reaching our local area with the love of Christ. This role works closely with the Lead Pastor to plan and lead worship services and to develop a healthy volunteer worship team. Responsibilities

• Lead congregational worship during weekly Sunday services.
• Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to plan music that supports the message and service.
• Recruit, schedule, and develop volunteer musicians, vocalists, display board operators (ProPresenter), sound techs, and stream operators.
• Help create a worship environment that emphasizes congregational participation.
• Coordinate production volunteers and ministry leaders.
• Prepare music charts, lyric slides, and service plans.
• Develop a culture that values people and makes feedback an expectation.
• Grow professionally, spiritually, and musically; and provide opportunities and encouragement for your team to do the same. Qualifications
• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Agreement with Riverwood Community Church's statement of faith and Converge's theological convictions.
• Strong vocal ability (ability to lead worship from guitar or piano preferred).
• Experience leading congregational worship in a band setting preferred.
• Familiarity with modern worship technology: digital sound board, ProPresenter, online streaming. Position Details

• Part-time:

  approximately 20-25 hours per week with 10-15 hours on site

• Compensation:

  Hourly ($20
• 40 depending on experience)
