Executive Worship Director ⸻ Position Overview The Courageous Church is seeking a part-time drummer to join our worship rotation at one of our Springfield campuses. We're looking for someone who brings excellence, energy, and consistency to the stage—someone who can lock in with a click, follow tracks, and help carry the sound of our house. The ideal candidate has a background playing in church, understands the spiritual weight of leading worship through rhythm, and shows up prepared and hungry to serve. ⸻ Primary Duties + Responsibilities Carry the spiritual and musical tone of the band through confident, dynamic playing Maintain humility and unity within the worship team Come to rehearsal and Sunday service fully prepared—parts learned, transitions understood, and heart ready Follow the Worship Leader and Music Director with musical sensitivity Support the team by playing confidently to click and tracks using in-ear monitors Be an active contributor to a worship culture marked by joy, excellence, and presence Collaborate with the Production team to ensure tight transitions and clean execution ⸻ Experience + Skill Requirements Proficiency on acoustic/electric drums with strong timing and feel Experience playing to a click and with multitracks (Ableton/Playback) in a live worship setting Familiarity with gospel, CCM, pop, and R&B styles of worship music Previous experience playing in a church setting preferred A teachable spirit, strong work ethic, and Jesus-first posture Willingness to align with Courageous Worship's musical standards and team culture ⸻ Attendance Requirements Primary commitments are Thursday night rehearsals and Sunday morning services ⸻
