Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Church Accompanist to bring vibrant musical energy to our worship services and community events. As a key member of our faith community, you will provide musical accompaniment that enhances spiritual experiences, supports congregational singing, and collaborates with worship director and pastor. Your talent and dedication will help create an inspiring atmosphere where faith and music unite to uplift all worshippers.

Responsibilities:

To accompany the choir in worship and in rehearsal. To assist in leading special worship opportunities as invited. To help fill the role when planning to be gone on personal time. To assist people in singing of hymns, spiritual songs and choruses during worship. To be prepared and able to successfully play the music assigned. Requirements To be a mature Christian, who recognizes Scripture as the final authority for faith and practice on the things which it speaks. To have a general understanding of the essential doctrine of the EPC and to share exceptions to doctrine with the Lead Pastor. Proven experience as a church accompanist or in a similar musical role Proficiency in playing piano, organ or keyboard with the ability to read sheet music fluently Knowledge of diverse musical genres, including traditional hymns and contemporary worship music Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with pastor, worship director, choir members, and congregation members Ability to adapt quickly to different service formats and musical needs Commitment to supporting the spiritual mission of the church through uplifting musical expression Join us in creating meaningful worship experiences through inspiring music!
