The Mannes School of Music Dean's Office at the College of Performing Arts seeks a highly motivated student to serve as the Mannes Dean's Office Student Assistant . We're looking for a responsible and motivated individual to support initiatives within the Mannes Academics area . This position reports to the Program and Administration Manager, Mannes School of Music, and is an ideal position for students who are interested in a career in music performance or music education. This position is open to student applicants with Federal Work Study awards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up classroom technology, assisting faculty with logging into computers and accessing files. Coordinate with the Technical Services Office to ensure classroom technology needs are met, including retrieving, setting up, and returning loaned gear. Provide the Mannes Dean's Office with any general office assistance as needed, including delivering/receiving equipment and scores Additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Current student in Mannes (BM, MM, or PDPL). Previous administrative experience. Recipient of Federal Work Study award.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current student in a College of Performing Arts degree program.
WORK MODE
On-Campus Position - Employees in this position are expected to work on-campus during regularly scheduled work hours due to the nature of the work being that which is not feasible, or not in the best interest of the organization, to be performed remotely. #

$17.00 Hours per

1-3 hours per week on average
