LERNER AND LOEWE'S 'BRIGADOON' IN CONCERT

JWM:
A Theatrical Company, in conjunction with Sutton Park Place Conservancy and Showpeople Theatre Collective, will produce a public concert version of Brigadoon on September 15th at 2 pm and 5 pm, and September 22nd at 2 pm with a 30-piece orchestra. A stipend of $550 is provided for principals, and $500 for ensemble members. We'll be doing publicity with BroadwayWorld, television news coverage, live-streaming, and more.
SEEKING:
Performers with energetic personalities who can convey messages through song, and most importantly, leave a lasting impact with an audience. Must learn music quickly and independently, be reliable, and collaborate with others. The performance will be recorded and photographed for the artist's use.
NON-UNION ONLY.
FOR
ENSEMBLE DANCE TRACKS
We are looking for dancers who are excellent vocalists. T are no non-singing tracks. Please include your Dance Reel below if applicable.
IMPORTANT DATES
Vocal/Dance Rehearsals:
46-50 Hours Between August 3rd and September 14th, at the NYPL for the Performing Arts Orchestra Sitzprobe (attendance not required): Date TBD, 12 pm-5 pm, at OpenJar Studios Vocal Sitzprobe (attendance required): Date TBD 12 pm-5 pm, at OpenJar Studios
Events:
Tuesday, Sept 15th, 2-3 pm, 5-6 pm (Sutton Place Park); Tuesday, September 22nd, 2-3 pm (Central Park)
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
All self-tapes linked in your form should be uploaded via YouTube or Vimeo Link ( preferred) and are due by Friday, May 29th at 5 pm.
PREPARATION
Please sing two contrasting 32-bar cuts; Golden Age pieces in the style of the show are strongly preferred. Do not send a vocal reel UNLESS it includes 2 contrasting 32-bar Golden Age cuts. If callbacks are requested, they will be due by 11:59 pm on Sunday, June 14th, via Self-Tape. Everyone who auditions will receive an answer regarding callbacks. If cast, you will be expected to know your music before the group rehearsal (that is not the place to learn it). This concert is curated for those for whom accessing the theatre may no longer be a possibility, whether that is because of age, disability, or other ailment.
