Job Description

Hammond Presbyterian Church is looking for an accompanist for Sunday morning services and other church events, which may include weddings and funerals. The successful candidate will be skilled in playing piano and/or organ. Responsibilities also include working with the choir during rehearsals, which are held one evening per month, and assisting in the selection of music in advance of services. Effective communication skills are essential for this position. The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, punctual, and appreciative of spiritual practice. Listed pay is for one weekly worship service, with additional remuneration for weddings, funerals, and other special services.
