Job Description
Highland United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights, Virginia is seeking a pianist, ability to play the organ is a bonus. The person selected for this position will work with our choir director and the church pastor on the weekly music selections. Hours include Sunday morning 10am service and weekly choir practice•usually on Wednesday evenings. In addition there are special services throughout the year•such as Christmas Eve, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Easter as well as a cantata at Christmas and at Easter. Vacation Bible School (VBS) is one week each summer, this position will provide the music portion of VBS. A background check is a required part of employment.
