  • Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Church Musician to enrich our worship services through inspiring musical leadership.
In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with church leadership and congregation members to create a welcoming and uplifting spiritual environment. Your musical talents will help foster community, deepen faith experiences, and bring joy through song. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to use your musical gifts to serve and uplift others in a vibrant faith community. Responsibilities Lead congregational singing during worship services, ensuring an engaging and reverent atmosphere Select and prepare appropriate music for weekly services, special events, and seasonal celebrations Collaborate with pastors, choir directors, and other musicians to coordinate musical programs Rehearse regularly with choir or instrumental groups to ensure cohesive performances Maintain and organize musical instruments, sheet music, and sound equipment Adapt music arrangements to suit different service themes or community needs Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all congregation members Skills Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments, such as piano or organ Strong vocal skills with the ability to lead singing confidently Experience in church or community choir settings is highly desirable Knowledge of a variety of musical styles, including contemporary, traditional, and theater music Excellent communication skills for collaborating with church staff and volunteers Ability to read sheet music and adapt arrangements as needed Passion for inspiring others through music and creating a welcoming worship environment
