Music Coordinator The Church of the Good Shepherd in Smithfield, Virginia is seeking a part-time Music Coordinator. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music or have equivalent education or experience of 2-3 years working in a Catholic Church. Requirements include, but are not limited to, knowledge of liturgical documents and the Catholic Liturgy, selection of music and teaching music to the assembly, and must be proficient in piano and/or organ accompaniment. Responsibilities include weekend and seasonal liturgies; holy days, weddings, funerals, and other parish celebrations. This is a non-exempt part-time position requiring 15-18 hours per week. The pay is commensurate with experience and the diocesan pay scale. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume, and references.
