Full Job Description Essential Functions:
(Included but not limited to)
  • Support General Manager in all aspects of overseeing the daily operation and management of a theater to ensure its profitability
  • The Senior manager functions as the main support for the General Manager.
Under supervision of General Manager, duties include: Supervise, manage, train and develop subordinate managers and castmembers (our ground floor employees) in all areas and functions required to run the theater efficiently and to UltraStar standards. Ensure all associates provide quality guest service to satisfy the needs of UltraStar Guests. Complete and submit accounting, inventory management, payroll, and hiring paperwork in a timely manner as requested. Ensure the theater's appearance adheres to company standards and safety regulations. Promote theater and products through public relations, events, rentals, and promotions. Control costs and manage operational expenses while maximizing theater sales.
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Ability to understand, implement, and follow general operating procedures.
  • Ability to exercise individual judgment as needed to ensure successful operation of the theater.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Capable of understanding and using Microsoft word, excel and email.
  • Able and willing to learn new concepts, procedures, and technical programs as required.
  • Cash handling and basic math skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team as well as handle responsibilities of leadership position.
  • Creativity and the ability to think "outside the box".
  • Reports directly to General Manager and Senior Manager supports in supervising employees and maintaining theater operations.

While performing the duties of this position, the Team Member will regularly be required to: Working days, nights, holidays, weekends are required. Work in an area where there is varying noise, lighting, in a fast paced environment. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds up to 100 feet. Move about facility and stand for long periods of time. Walk or stand 100% of shift. Reach, kneel, bend and stoop frequently. Minimum qualifications
Required:
Previous supervisory experience (at least 4 year), and previous cash handling and customer service experience. Previous Theater or Restaurant experience preferred but not required, including experience of supervising a staff of 20 or more.
