In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all aspects of the stage and backstage operations, ensuring smooth rehearsals and performances. Your leadership will keep the production running seamlessly, fostering a collaborative environment for performers, crew, and directors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of live theater, making each show an unforgettable experience for audiences. Duties Oversee daily rehearsal schedules, ensuring timely setup and transitions between scenes and acts Coordinate communication between directors, performers, technical crew, and front-of-house staff to maintain clarity and efficiency Manage stage props, set pieces, costumes, and technical equipment to ensure readiness for each scene Supervise backstage activities during performances to maintain safety and organization Assist with blocking rehearsals and provide guidance on choreography or movement when needed Maintain detailed production notes, cue sheets, and logs to support smooth execution of shows Facilitate effective communication during performances through clear cues and signals Skills Strong knowledge of theater production processes and stage management techniques Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with diverse team members Public speaking ability to give clear instructions and lead rehearsals confidently Experience in dancing or ballet enhances understanding of choreography and movement cues Background in theater or performing arts provides valuable context for production needs Teaching skills to guide performers and crew through complex routines or procedures Writing skills for creating detailed reports, cue sheets, and production documentation This paid role invites passionate individuals eager to contribute their organizational prowess and theatrical expertise.
