WORK HOURS
Seasonal and to be determined in collaboration with the Building Principal
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma and the ability to positively interact with staff and students between the ages of 11 and 14

JOB OVERVIEW
Coordinates the visual environment of the production while guiding students through the creative and technical process of set construction. This role works closely with the Music Director and Assistant Director to ensure the physical stage aligns with the artistic vision and pacing of the show.
Key Responsibilities:
Scenic Planning:
Develop visual concepts, simple designs, and prop layouts for the production.
Student Involvement:
Instruct and supervise student crew members in basic set assembly, painting, and stage dressing.
Collaborative Production:
Meet regularly with the Music Director and Assistant Director to coordinate stage space for staging, choreography, and musical numbers.
Stage Safety:
Ensure all set pieces are constructed safely and handled properly by students during rehearsals and performances. The mental demands, physical demands, and work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
