Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Permitting Coordinator to join our team and ensure seamless compliance with all regulatory requirements related to construction, public health, and safety standards. In this vital role, you will manage the permitting process from start to finish, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and other relevant standards. This position will also act as a client coordinator working hand and hand with our sales and project management team to make sure projects are moving forward with all required criteria. Responsibilities Manage the entire permitting process for construction projects, ensuring timely submission and approval of all necessary permits. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to gather required documentation and facilitate communication. Prepare detailed reports documenting permit statuses, compliance issues, and corrective actions for internal review and regulatory reporting. Maintain organized records of permits, correspondence, inspections, and compliance documentation for audit readiness. Assist in conducting site inspections to verify ongoing compliance with permits and safety protocols. Maintain project checklists to confirm material selections, contract acceptance, utility markouts, material orders. Qualifications Proven experience in construction permitting, regulatory compliance management, or related fields. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction regulations. Familiarity with FDA regulations relevant to public health or medical facility projects is a plus. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to prepare clear documentation for regulatory reporting purposes. Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and communicate complex requirements clearly. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple permit applications simultaneously. Knowledge of compliance management systems and experience in public health initiatives is desirable.
