Job Description

Summary - Be a part of a prestigious Community Bank supporting the community for 29 years. Perform a broad variety of customer service functions. Professionally handle requests from customers regarding new accounts, maintenance of their accounts, and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and accurately within established policy and procedure guidelines. This position may involve travel to other offices in Lee County. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Possess in-depth knowledge on a wide array of deposit related products and services. Deliver a high level of service through identifying opportunities, thoroughly and efficiently gathering customer information, assess and fulfill customer needs, and educate the customer where applicable. Responsible for opening and servicing personal and business deposit accounts, as well as, ancillary products and services, within established policies and procedures; Follow up with file maintenance to ensure accuracy of customer records. Responsible for completing appropriate paperwork and obtaining necessary authorization(s) as well as, accurate data entry when opening, maintaining and closing customer accounts. Process transactions accurately and efficiently to build customer confidence and trust, based on established policies and procedures. Daily balancing and verifying cash totals. Promptly resolve discrepancies. Comply with state and federal regulations, and the Bank Secrecy Act, including obtaining and notating required documentation for the bank's Customer Identification Program and enhanced due diligence requirements. Comply with all established policies and procedures related to the protection of customer and bank assets. Investigate and resolve a wide variety of issues and requests to include probing for additional information from customers and setting expectations. Demonstrate passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers with positive, upbeat attitude. Perform other related duties such as performing internal control audits, filing, customer correspondence, data input, and Safe Deposit Box duties. Assist in teller line functions, as necessary. Keep supervisor or management informed of any customer issues. Maintain good working relationships with all personnel. Ensure that work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained. Maintain confidentiality of customer information. Project and maintain the positive image and reputation of Edison National Bank to the public and co-workers. Adhere to state laws and governmental regulations, including Consumer Protection, Regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and Community Reinvestment Act compliance. Willingness to attend schools, seminars and meetings to keep abreast of laws, regulations, and services, as needed. Adopt Edison National Bank's philosophies and adhere to the "Better Way" program. Perform other duties as needed or assigned by management. May be required to work at other office locations. Regular attendance according to work schedule. Management strongly encourages and expects employees to contact a supervisor immediately if an error is incurred (or question of a possible error) that may lead to a loss to the Bank and/or customer. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
