As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Administer medications according to prescribed schedules Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary restrictions Monitor and document changes in residents' health or behavior Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Ensure residents' rights and privacy are respected at all times Assist with memory care activities for residents with dementia Conduct patient observations and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred Knowledge of medication administration protocols Familiarity with social work principles and practices Understanding of dementia care techniques Ability to assist with meal preparation and feeding Proficiency in providing patient observation and reporting changes Knowledge of basic CPR procedures is a plus
