Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver/Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview Preferred Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home support to clients in their daily lives. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own home. Caregivers will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, and daily living activities while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. We are looking for team members who are reliable, respectful, and committed to providing high-quality care. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide companionship and emotional support Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, cleaning) Assist with mobility and transfers as needed Remind clients to take medications (no administering) Complete required documentation and duty sheets accurately Follow individualized care plans and report any changes in client condition to the office Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients Skills Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred (not required - willing to train the right candidate) Compassionate, patient, and dependable Ability to follow directions and work independently Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to pass background checks and required screenings (per Arkansas regulations) Strong communication and interpersonal skills
