00AM The Grand Residence at Upper St. Clair - 2.7 Upper St. Clair, PA Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Job Description The Personal Care Assistant FT is for the 11PM-7AM SHIFT and is to help our residents with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, toileting, dressing, bathing, transferring, and incontinence. The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and a genuine desire to work with the elderly. Candidates should be caring, kind, honest, and dependable. Previous experience is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities Helps clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, and/or ambulation. Helps resident to and from daily activities. Establishes and maintains effective communication and a professional relationship with residents, co-workers, and others Maintains confidentiality regarding resident information Uses equipment and supplies safely and properly Ensures that the required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards Participates in in-service and continuing education programs, staff meetings, and other meetings/events as requested by the immediate supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Genuine desire to work with the elderly and/or disabled Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed Reliable transportation The facility is not located on a bus line.
