Job DescriptionPay is $17 / hour.
Provide compassionate personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, meals, and laundry, paying attention to details that matter.
Proactively identify and address residents' care needs—spotting hygiene concerns, health changes, or missing items before they become issues.
Maintain open communication with supervisors and teammates, sharing observations about residents' health, mood, and status to ensure coordinated, personalized care.
Serve as a safety champion by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting any concerns about abuse, neglect, or misuse of resources.
Document residents' conditions and observations as directed to support the entire care team.
Assist with residents' prescribed daily medication routines in compliance with state regulations.
Ensure administrative paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
Participate in monthly staff meetings and contribute your insights to strengthen our community culture.
Perform additional duties with the same care and enthusiasm you bring to all responsibilities.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications & ExperienceMust be able to read, write and speak the English language.
High school or Equivalent (GED)One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferredKnowledgeable with Electronic Health Management systemStrong self-management and organization skillsStrong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (open to change).Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentialityWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
Possible exposure to household chemicals.
Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
May be subject to frequent interruptions.
Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
