Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Personal Lines Account Manager and become a vital part of delivering exceptional insurance solutions to our valued clients. In this energetic role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of personal insurance accounts, providing expert guidance and tailored coverage options. Your proactive approach will ensure customer satisfaction, foster long-term relationships, and drive growth through effective sales strategies. Duties Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their personal insurance needs and offering customized solutions. Conduct outside sales efforts to attract new clients through community engagement, networking, telemarketing, and marketing initiatives. Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Manage sales administration tasks including policy processing, documentation, and benefits administration to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and guiding clients through policy selections. Analyze client data and market trends to identify opportunities for cross-selling additional insurance products or improving existing coverage. Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to facilitate seamless policy issuance and renewals. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication skills to effectively articulate policy benefits and terms. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively. Familiarity with sales administration processes, analysis skills, and marketing strategies to support business growth. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a plus for handling sensitive information responsibly. Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive attitude towards client engagement and retention.
