Personal Lines Insurance Agent

Personal lines insurance agent responsible for writing new personal lines insurance and maintaining a book of personal lines business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Quoting and writing new personal lines business with proper review follow up Cross selling existing accounts for new business Documenting client files with any form of communication & documentation Develop positive working relationships with clients and co-workers Process daily mail. Process daily e-mail Process daily management system pending activities. Maintain working knowledge of all company binding authority & procedures. All other duties as assigned by Agency Principals.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

Taking customer claim information and reporting to respective carrier when primary claims CSR is not available. Process change requests when other personal lines agents are out of the office including confirmation change letters. Pursue insurance education beyond required state continuing education requirements, i.e. CISR, CIC, etc. designation programs. Answer phone calls, including voice mail and distribute calls based on agency floating schedule.

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
