Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on student success through your expertise in school psychology. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a supportive educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year, with dedicated on-site hours and a caseload tailored to your strengths and interests.
Key Qualifications:
Valid state credentials and full compliance with all requirements for school psychologists Proficiency in psychological assessment, crisis intervention, and development of student support plans Strong collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families Ability to provide in-person services exclusively Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional growth
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, utilizing best-practice methods and tools Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and behavior intervention plans Partner with staff to design interventions that promote positive social, emotional, and academic outcomes Consult with families regarding student progress, needs, and supportive resources Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to IEP or 504 planning processes Maintain accurate documentation and records to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines This role is based near Northfield, VT with a contract commencing August 28, 2026, and concluding June 18, 2027. The standard workweek is 37.5 hours, with caseload specifics determined after initial internal review and tailored to match your experience and preferences.
