Job Description
Fitness Coach Redemption Fitness - Clover, SC Redemption Fitness Clover is looking for a Fitness Coach who wants more than just a few classes on the schedule. We're looking for a coachable, professional, values-driven person who wants to grow inside a long-term coaching career while helping people change their lives through fitness, accountability, and community. This role is ideal for someone with strong character, reliable availability, and a desire to continually improve. Certifications and experience matter, but alignment, professionalism, and coachability matter even more. At Redemption Fitness, fitness is the tool — but transformation is the goal. We help people build strength, health, confidence, discipline, and belief in themselves through consistent coaching, high standards, and a supportive community that refuses to let people stay stuck. As a coach, you'll play a key role in that experience. Every class and personal training session is an opportunity to help someone feel stronger, more capable, and more confident than when they walked in. This is not a "clock in and coach a class" position. We're looking for someone who wants to grow into a bigger role over time through coaching development, leadership opportunities, personal training, member relationships, and community involvement. Primary Role Deliver safe, professional, high-energy coaching experiences across group classes and personal training sessions while creating an encouraging and consistent Redemption Fitness member experience. Coach Responsibilities & Expectations You will be responsible for: Coaching assigned group classes and personal training sessions with professionalism, preparation, and energy. Arriving early to review workouts, prepare the floor, set up equipment, and welcome members. Greeting members by name and helping create a warm, high-energy, and high-accountability environment. Scaling and modifying workouts for different ability levels, injuries, limitations, and confidence levels. Creating a class experience where members feel coached, encouraged, and supported. Learning and applying Redemption Fitness coaching systems, procedures, and standards. Using Wodify for class management and member tracking. Communicating schedule needs proactively with leadership. Cleaning, resetting, and maintaining the gym space after classes and sessions. Attending team meetings, trainings, and coach development sessions. Shadowing senior coaches and continuing to grow professionally. Building relationships with members both inside and outside the gym through events and community involvement. Supporting social media and community content when appropriate. Growing into additional responsibilities including Personal Training, Foundations, sales conversations, and No Sweat Intros over time. Availability Required Minimum 3 mornings per week between 4:45am-1:00pm Minimum 2 afternoon/evenings per week Reliable communication regarding schedule changes, coverage needs, and availability and flexibility when opportunities arise Why This Is a Great Opportunity This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a real coaching career inside a gym that values growth, professionalism, relationships, and long-term impact. You'll begin with class coaching and development while learning the Redemption Fitness coaching system. Over time, there will be opportunities to grow into: Personal Training Foundations and onboarding sessions Sales and No Sweat Intros Specialty programs Community leadership Increased coaching hours and responsibility This role is designed to grow into a larger part-time or full-time coaching position for the right person as responsibilities, client load, and leadership opportunities increase. You won't just be filling classes on a schedule — you'll be developing as a coach, leader, and professional inside a team that invests in its people. Compensation & Growth Opportunity Compensation is based on coaching responsibilities, experience, certifications, availability, and overall role within the gym. This position has multiple opportunities for income growth over time through: Group class coaching Personal Training Foundations and onboarding sessions Specialty programs and clinics Semi-private training Sales, No Sweat Intros and administrative tasks Leadership responsibilities Entry-level responsibilities may begin with limited hours while developing into larger coaching, training, and leadership opportunities for the right person. We are looking for someone who wants to grow into a meaningful long-term role, not just coach a few classes occasionally.
