Job Overview Join our family-owned business as a Pest Control Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining safe, pest-free environments for our valued clients. In this position, you will conduct thorough inspections, administer pest control treatments, and offer expert guidance to effectively eliminate pests. Your proactive attitude will drive customer satisfaction and help sustain our reputation for excellence. This opportunity allows you to build valuable pest management skills while working outdoors and interacting with a diverse clientele. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and potential entry points Apply pest control solutions using appropriate tools, chemicals, and techniques in accordance with safety standards Educate clients on pest prevention methods and recommend ongoing maintenance plans for long-term protection Utilize hand tools, power tools, and backpacks as needed for treatment applications or property maintenance Drive company vehicles safely to various job sites Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, materials used, and follow-up schedules to ensure compliance and quality assurance Qualifications Previous experience or familiarity with pest control techniques is highly desirable Knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, agriculture, or farming practices is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving company vehicles to different locations Strong communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members Willingness to learn about new pest control methods and stay updated on industry standards Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 50lbs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
