Pest Control Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues for residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure safe and effective pest control solutions while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest management techniques, as well as experience with various tools and equipment used in the field. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and recommend appropriate treatment plans. Apply pesticides and other pest control methods in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines. Utilize farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools effectively to perform pest control tasks. Maintain accurate records of services provided, including treatments applied and follow-up recommendations. Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and provide exceptional customer service. Drive to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled appointments. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices in pest management. Skills Proficiency in pest control techniques and knowledge of common pests and their behaviors. Experience with farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools relevant to the role. Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service offerings to clients. Familiarity with lawn care and landscape maintenance practices is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
