Your expertise will help ensure pets leave looking their best and feeling loved, making a positive impact on the lives of animals and their families every day. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet's specific needs and breed standards Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring safe restraint and comfort during grooming procedures Maintain a clean, organized grooming area and properly sanitize tools and equipment after each use Assess pets for any health issues or skin conditions and communicate findings to pet owners or veterinary staff when necessary Provide excellent customer service by explaining grooming options, answering questions, and building trusting relationships with pet owners Assist with pet handling during appointments, ensuring animals are calm and secure throughout the grooming process Support additional animal care tasks such as basic veterinary assistance or kennel duties as needed Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including restraint and safety protocols for dogs and other small animals Familiarity with veterinary environments or experience working with veterinary technicians or assistants is a plus Ability to lift heavy pets safely and perform physical tasks required for grooming procedures Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members Experience in dog training, veterinary care, or animal handling is highly desirable Passion for animal welfare combined with a positive attitude and attention to detail Join us in creating a welcoming environment where pets feel loved, cared for, and beautifully groomed.
