HR Specialist Waveny LifeCare Network - 3.9 New Canaan, CT Job Details 8 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Lead full-cycle recruitment, including workforce planning, job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer coordination, and onboarding. Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports related to staffing, turnover, recruitment, compliance, and employee trends for leadership review. Administer and maintain HRIS systems, employee records, and reporting functions with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate benefits administration processes including enrollments, qualifying life events, employee education, and vendor coordination. Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies, including leave administration and workplace regulations. Coordinate and support performance review processes, employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies. Assist with special HR projects, audits, and organizational initiatives across multiple departments or locations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 4-6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Coordinator or Associates capacity. Strong working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee customer service. Experience supporting recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance initiatives. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. Proficiency with HRIS systems (preferably UKG) and Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity. HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), onboarding platforms, and HR analytics/reporting. Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or multi-site environments preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
