Location:

York, PA (near Hanover) 500-bed hospital setting

Schedule/Hours:

Variable days and afternoon shifts 13-week contract with potential for extension ASAP start

Responsibilities:

Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize pharmacotherapy Provide pharmacokinetic consultations and monitoring Utilize hospital IT systems, including EPIC and Pyxis, to maintain safe medication practices

Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and hospital protocols Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems advantageous Excellent communication and decision-making skills This contract role is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a dynamic hospital environment and is committed to enhancing patient outcomes through precise medication management.
