Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A major 500-bed hospital is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting with a variable days and afternoons schedule over 13+ weeks. Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians on pharmacotherapy, and performing pharmacokinetic monitoring. You will utilize advanced pharmacy IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis to ensure safe and efficient medication distribution.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license Approximately 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Strong knowledge of medication order verification and clinical pharmacy practice Experience with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred Ability to work variable days and afternoon shifts
