This part-time, contract role offers a structured schedule and the potential for extension or direct hire after a one-year term.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge Conduct chart reviews and maintain thorough and accurate documentation Verify and fill prescriptions, stepping in during technician absences Prepare and complete internal reports and forms utilizing Microsoft Excel Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations Operate independently when technician support is unavailable Maintain limited patient interaction, primarily upon request No responsibilities related to billing or insurance processing

Desired Qualifications:

Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative history 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience Experience in substance abuse or opioid treatment centers is preferred but not mandatory Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for report preparation and documentation

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday Hours:
