Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established 500-bed hospital in York, PA is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support their inpatient pharmacy services. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment with a variable schedule to accommodate afternoon and day shifts. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is expected to last for at least 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform order verification to ensure accuracy and safety of medication dispensing Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support Consult directly with physicians on medication therapy, including pharmacokinetics Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation

Qualifications:

Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Proficiency with electronic health records and automated dispensing systems

Schedule/Hours:
