Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Ventura County is seeking a Pharmacist to support their team in a 300-bed hospital setting. This contract position offers the unique opportunity to gain experience at a Cerner/Omnicell site within a reputable health system.

Location:

Ventura County, CA (Oxnard area, LA metro region)

Schedule:

Night shifts: 7 days on, 7 days off

Hours:

Approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30

AM Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety. Utilize the Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacological care. Review prescriptions for appropriateness and potential drug interactions. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital protocols.

Desired Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist with current pharmacy credentials. Experience working in a hospital setting preferred. Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell systems is highly advantageous. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently during night shifts.
