Lunch Break:
12:30 PM•1:00 PM) Job Summary The Pharmacist in Charge is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medications, and managing pharmacy staff. This role includes leadership of pharmacy technicians, maintaining compliance with regulations, and ensuring efficient pharmacy workflow and patient care. Key Responsibilities Review and execute prescriptions to ensure accuracy, legality, and appropriateness Prepare and dispense medications with correct dosage and instructions Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including stocking and labeling Organize pharmacy operations for efficient product identification and workflow Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies Supervise pharmacy technicians, including scheduling and performance management Provide guidance, training, and feedback to pharmacy staff Utilize pharmacy systems for patient and medication management Maintain high standards of patient safety and service Required Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Active pharmacy license in the state of Illinois Minimum 3 years of retail pharmacy management experience Experience using pharmacy or patient management systems Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards Preferred Qualifications Experience in managing high-volume retail pharmacy operations Strong background in inventory control and regulatory compliance Ability to lead teams and improve operational efficiency Work Environment & Additional Details Onsite role with provided parking Retail pharmacy environment Relocation assistance available Standard weekday schedule with designated lunch break Leadership role with responsibility for team management and operations
