Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract An opportunity for an interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is available to provide essential leadership and ensure regulatory compliance at a busy pharmacy location. This contract role is ideal for an experienced pharmacist ready to step into a leadership position and oversee daily pharmacy operations.
Location:
Reno, NV (initial assignment in Gardnerville, NV with travel to Reno)
Contract Duration:
6 to 8 weeks, starting Monday, May 11
Schedule:
Monday to
Friday:
10:00 AM to 6:30
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM to 5:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, assuming accountability for all pharmacy operations in compliance with Nevada Board of Pharmacy regulations Provide leadership and guidance to an experienced technician team, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service Maintain accurate records, oversee inventory management, and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and policies Address any operational challenges promptly and effectively to maintain high standards of care Collaborate with management to uphold quality assurance and safety protocols
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist eligible and willing to take over PIC responsibilities with the Nevada Board of Pharmacy Demonstrated experience leading a pharmacy team and managing daily operations Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices in Nevada Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and professional relationships This contract offers the chance to lead an established, skilled team in a dynamic and supportive environment.
