Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract A reputable high-volume retail and mail-order pharmacy in Irving, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist-In-Charge for a part-time assignment lasting approximately 13 weeks. This position offers flexibility in scheduling with shifts primarily during the first shift, though daytime or mid-shift options can be accommodated based on candidate availability. The pharmacy operates with a script volume ranging between 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily, utilizing DRx pharmacy software.
Location:
Irving, Texas Assignment Length:
13 weeks, starting
ASAP Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 20-24 hours per week Primarily first shift; flexibility available for day or mid shifts
Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently Handle inbound calls from patients and physician offices concerning medications Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards as Pharmacist-In-Charge Ensure quality control and patient safety in all dispensing activities
Qualifications:
Active Pharmacist license valid in California Experience managing high-volume prescription verification Proficient with DRx pharmacy software or similar systems Excellent communication skills for patient and healthcare provider interactions Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment This contract opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in a dynamic pharmacy setting while enjoying part-time hours.
