Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A leadership opportunity is available for a licensed Michigan pharmacist to serve as both Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist-in-Charge at a behavioral health facility. This contract role offers the chance to manage pharmacy operations at a specialized site with a focused patient census averaging 40 daily.
Location:
Byron Center, MI Conveniently near Gerald Ford International Airport (GRR)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturdays remote, 9:00 AM to 11:00
AM Key Responsibilities:
Oversee order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance Maintain inventory management for optimal stock levels Perform duties as Director of Pharmacy with leadership of a compact pharmacy staff Utilize order entry system HCS and Omnicell automation (preferred experience) Uphold pharmacy operations in a behavioral health setting with no technician support available
Qualifications:
Active Michigan pharmacist license in good standing is required Experience with pharmacy order entry systems and automation, ideally HCS and Omnicell Familiarity with behavioral health pharmacy operations is a plus Ability to assume responsibility as Director of Pharmacy and PIC immediately
Additional Details:
