Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity exists for a Pharmacist to support a 200-bed community hospital in Indiana with night shift coverage. This role involves a 6-month assignment with the potential for temp-to-hire placement. The position offers an immediate start and focuses on providing pharmaceutical care during overnight hours.

Schedule:

Night Shift:

9:00 PM to 7:30 AM 7 days on, 7 days off rotation

Responsibilities:

Order verification to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily workflow and operational tasks Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication dosing Consult with physicians and nurses to provide clinical recommendations and support Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and communication

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist in Indiana Experience working in a hospital setting Comfortable working night shifts on a rotating schedule Familiarity with EPIC or similar hospital information systems is preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills This role is well-suited for candidates seeking to leverage their hospital pharmacy expertise while working in a community hospital environment.
