Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to support a 20-bed suburban medical center in the Tucson area. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to contribute to a respected acute care facility with a focus on diverse, high-acuity patient populations.

Day shifts, Monday throughFriday Key Responsibilities:
Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of medications in compliance with state, federal, DEA regulations, and hospital policies. Collaborate closely with physicians on drug selection and dosing. Provide education to nursing staff, patients, and physicians on medication use. Lead Medication Safety initiatives and manage patient profiles to prevent adverse drug reactions. Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements. Maintain strict narcotic accountability.Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy experience. Proven expertise in a high-acuity acute care setting. Experience working in NICU and managing cardiac cases involving devices such as Impella and ECMO. Strong knowledge of TJC standards and regulatory requirements. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
