Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An immediate opportunity is available for a full-time night shift pharmacist to join a healthcare facility supporting 100 licensed beds with an average daily census of 50 patients. This contract position begins the night of May 11th and requires commitment for at least 8 weeks. The role is critical due to an emergency situation involving a Pyxis crisis and mandates from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for overnight pharmacist coverage.

Schedule & Hours:

Full-time night shift Primarily Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts Some schedule flexibility available

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians during shifts Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians for patient care consultations Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize medication therapy Manage Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets, maintaining compliance and security measures

Desired Qualifications:
