Within the pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and inpatient pharmacy the Pharmacy Director will find a robust, residency-friendly environment with PGY1 and PGY2 exposure that thrives on interdisciplinary collaboration. Reporting to senior executives such as the COO with strong partnership to the CMO and CNO, the Director of Pharmacy will lead clinical and operational strategy across centralized distribution, sterile compounding (USP 797/800), medication safety, 340B optimization, formulary management and P&T stewardship, antimicrobial stewardship integration, oncology and infusion services, IDS support, pharmacy informatics and EHR optimization, controlled substance oversight, supply chain resilience, quality dashboards, and transitions-of-care initiatives. Supported by assistant directors, clinical coordinators, operations managers, buyers, and a skilled technician workforce, the Director of Pharmacy collaborates daily with friendly nurses, hospitalists, intensivists, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals to hardwire best practices and deliver reliable, patient-centered results.
