  • Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire A well-established mail order specialty pharmacy in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire role. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a direct hire, supporting a dynamic pharmacy team focused on delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services. This role begins with day shift hours (8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM) to provide a smooth onboarding experience and will transition to the 2nd shift (12:30 PM
  • 9:00 PM) once evening pharmacists are hired.
There is also a possibility of working weekends to support peak workflow periods.

Monday through
Friday Initial Day Shift:
8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Transition to 2nd
Shift:
12:30 PM
  • 9:00 PM Possible weekend hours
Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently processing high-volume prescriptions in a mail order/specialty pharmacy environment Coordinating with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and customers to ensure seamless medication delivery Maintaining adherence to regulatory compliance and safety standards Inventory management and documentation to support pharmacy operations Demonstrating reliability and consistent performance in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license Minimum of 2 years current or very recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician Proven background in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy operations Strong attention to detail and commitment to reliability Excellent communication and organizational skills This role is ideal for an experienced pharmacy technician looking for a challenging position within a mail order specialty pharmacy setting, with a clear path toward direct hire.
