This newly developed facility, managed by a major pharmacy services company, is slated to open in August. Immediate assistance is needed for pharmacy setup and preparation activities, with the role evolving into primary pharmacist-in-charge and staffing responsibilities once the pharmacy is operational. This position offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, providing consistency and work-life balance. It is a contract role with potential transition to a permanent position within the managing company's payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the pharmacy build-out and setup prior to opening. Serve as the pharmacist-in-charge once the pharmacy is operational, initially functioning as a solo pharmacist. Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring safe and efficient medication dispensing. Support outpatient prescription services for hospital patients. Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license. Proven retail pharmacy experience, ideally in a hospital outpatient setting. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently during initial solo coverage. Commitment to accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
