Phlebotomist- work inpatient facilty and emergency department. Schedule will include every other weekend and rotating holidays Work where every moment matters. helicopter services. We deliver and coordinate a continuum of high-quality healthcare with the goal of improving the health of our communities. Job Summary The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices. Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes. The Phlebotomist is required to comply with all OSHA and regulatory requirements including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment [PPE]. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. Or, other experience and training that will support minimum on-the-job training to perform the above duties Keyboarding/data entry experience Knowledge of venipuncture techniques Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems Continuous improvement mindset Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients.
