• Role Purpose
• Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.
• Responsibilities
• + Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity. + Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times. + Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
